SICILY. Entella (?). Punic issues, circa 320/15-300 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 16.91 g, 12 h). Head of Tanit-Persephone to left, wearing wreath of grain leaves, triple-pendant earring and pearl necklace; in front, [dolphin above kerykeion]. Rev. 𐤌𐤌 ('mm' in Punic) Head of a horse to left; behind, palm tree with two date clusters. Jenkins 225 (O68/R194). A fresh and very sharp piece. Struck on a slightly short flan and with a die break on the reverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.

From an important collection of coins from Magna Graecia and Punic Sicily, formed in the 1990s and early 2000s.
